When Rupert Isaacson discovered his son’s unique connection with horses, he embarked on a journey to help his child rise above the challenges of autism. After traveling across the world to explore different types of healing, he and his family documented their amazing journey in the PBS film, The Horse Boy. There is also a book by Rupert Isaacson with the same title.
In addition to their documentary, the Isaacsons began The Horse Boy Foundation in Texas, where families affected by autism can visit, free of charge, and enjoy connecting with the healing power of horses and nature. There are other such programs across the country that utilize The Horse Boy Method, including The Square Peg Foundation in Half Moon Bay, CA.
